Heat on H'ween Sickos Responded to by Jennifer L. Pass
I applaud the NYPD and state probation and parole officials for focusing on this very serious epidemic of child sexual abuse by increasing their presence and attention on Halloween. It is my hope, however, that in addition to the message that these actions are intended to send today, 'Zero Tolerance' on Halloween, awareness is also raised that this is an ongoing epidemic we as a society need to have a 'Zero Tolerance' for on a daily basis. To that end, it would be a great step in the right direction not place such a crass title on an article reporting on such a serious matter. Additionally, it would help to correctly refer to Level 3 child-sex fiends as child abuse perpetrators.
