Students learn verbal and physical self-defense techniques, and participate in activities and discussions relating to violence prevention, safety, and conflict de-escalation. This class is open to teen women and transyouth ages 14-19. Advance registration is required--please contact us to sign up! Location: This class will be taught as part of the Sadie Nash Leadership Camp, and will be held at their location in Manhattan. Students learn verbal and physical self-defense techniques, and participate in activities and discussions relating to violence prevention, safety, and conflict de-escalation. The class is offered on a sliding-scale fee basis depending on household income. Survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault may take this class for free.
