Information for Professionals

This guide was created not only for survivors but for those professionals that guide them towards recovery as well. We hope professionals use this guide to:
  • Facilitate networking and infromation-sharing
  • Assist in making referrals, and
  • Help raise awareness about other programs within New York City.
Please note that the person listed as "contact" for each entry, in most instances, is the person designated by the respective agency to answer any questions or requests from professionals.

Holly Hughes, Producer
"On TV, the only time they called it rape was when it was a stranger. So I didn't think what happened to me was rape. If I did, maybe I would have told someone. Maybe I would not have lost so many years of my life."
