Dating Violence Information for Teens

Dating violence is controlling, abusive and aggressive behavior in a romantic relationship. It can happen in straight or gay relationships. It can include verbal, emotional, physical, or sexual abuse, or a combination of them.

Child / Adolescent Programs

Child advocacy centers provide comprehensive support to child abuse victims and their families. They provide assessment and therapy services to victims of child abuse, and work in cooperation with the Police Department, District Attorneys' offices and the Administration for Children's Services. Special programs for adolescents are also listed here.
